I have practiced this craft for years. I still ground before I work. I still write down what actually happened, not what I hoped would happen. That is the kind of training this is.

Year and a Day is the old length of an apprenticeship. Long enough for the seasons to test you. One day more to mark that you crossed a line on purpose. Read this introduction first. Then begin Part 1.

What you will learn

Thirteen parts, from Grounding through Self-Dedication. Tools, altar, the God and the Goddess, elements and circle, smoke and scent, herbs, protection, divination, the Wheel of the Year (meanings and Northern Hemisphere dates), spellcraft, and the moon. You close with your self-dedication rite.

How each lesson works

1. Teach: what you need to know, and why it matters.
2. Meditation: a guided journey through nature, written to settle the mind before you work.
3. Ritual: a short working you can do the same day.
4. Make: something you craft yourself, such as loose incense on a charcoal disc, a charm, an oil, or an altar piece.

This is steady work for people who want a craft they can live with. Do the parts in order. Keep a journal. Take photos of what you make. Notice what changes.

What is included

• Thirteen substantial parts across a year and a day

Who this is for

Beginners who want a serious foundation, and returning practitioners who want European-rooted structure without the noise. You do not need a closet full of tools on day one. You need willingness to practice, honesty in your notes, and respect for the work.
