What do I agree to when I enroll?
By enrolling you accept our Terms of Service and Disclaimer. Course materials are for your personal use only. Sharing, redistributing or publishing them on websites, social groups or anywhere else without our written permission is forbidden. Please also read the liability and warranty sections of the Terms.
Are the herbs lessons medical advice?
No. The Herbs and Wild Plants course teaches folk herbalism and everyday tradition. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor or a trained phytotherapist. Please read traditional claims critically.
Is Celebrating the Festivals of the Year really free?
Yes. It is included free with your Year and a Day enrollment as a bonus.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Each course has its own printable certificate of completion, signed by Maren, Guide of the House. You can download it when you finish that course.
Is the training self-paced?
Yes. You move through the lessons at your own speed and can pick up where you left off.
What do the courses cost?
All prices are in US dollars and are one-time payments. Year and a Day Training: $395. Herbs and Wild Plants: $95. The Elements: $110. Celebrating the Festivals of the Year: included free with Year and a Day. See the Pricing page for details.
How long do I have access?
Enrollment grants access as described on each course page at purchase. If you have questions before buying, please use the Contact page.
Why is there no webshop?
We do not ship physical goods. Shipping from the US to our students would make tools and herbs expensive for you, so Wyrd House stays digital: courses you can start right away.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Year and a Day is written for beginners who want depth, and for practitioners who want a clear European folk foundation. You can start where you are.
Is this Wicca or traditional witchcraft?
Wyrd House teaches European-rooted traditional / folk witchcraft: practice, lore, and craft. It is not a Wiccan lineage or coven initiation. The path does include self-initiation: you take the work on yourself. When the training speaks of the God and the Goddess, that is folk polarity language, not a claim that this school teaches Wicca.
Are there live classes or Zoom calls?
No. The courses are self-paced written training with practices you do at home. There are no live Zoom classes included in the current enrollment.
What language are the courses in?
All course materials are in English (US), written for an English-speaking audience.
Can I buy Herbs or Elements without Year and a Day?
Yes. Herbs and Wild Plants and The Elements are sold on their own. Celebrating the Festivals of the Year is included free with Year and a Day.
How do I pay?
You enroll on the course page and pay at checkout by card or PayPal. Prices are in US dollars and are one-time payments.
What is your refund policy?
Digital courses have a limited cooling-off window. In short: if you have not accessed paid lessons, you can generally request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Once you open paid content, that purchase is usually final. Full details: Refund Policy.
Do I need special tools or an altar to start?
No. Early lessons cover what you need and what can wait. Household items and simple practice are enough to begin; you can build tools over time.
Will I get email support from Maren?
Enrollment is self-paced study. For account, payment, or access questions, use the Contact page. The courses themselves are the teaching; they are not one-to-one mentoring.
Can I gift a course?
Yes in practice: purchase the course, then contact us with the recipient’s details so we can help transfer access. Use the Contact page after checkout.
I live outside the US. Does that matter?
No. The courses are digital and available wherever you can reach the site. Prices are charged in US dollars; your bank handles any conversion.
