These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://www.wyrdhousewitchcraft.com (the “Site”) and any courses, content, or services offered by Wyrd House Witchcraft (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site or purchasing a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or enroll.
Who we are
Wyrd House Witchcraft provides European-rooted folk witchcraft education, including the Year and a Day apprenticeship training, seasonal learning, and Journal content. Questions: email hola@wyrdhousewitchcraft.com or use the Contact page on the Site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account or purchase courses. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.
Courses and digital products
Course access, materials, and related digital content are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only, unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may not share login access, copy course materials for others, resell content, or remove notices from materials.
Enrollment grants access according to the product description at purchase. We may update course content over time to improve quality. Features and lesson availability may change; we will not materially reduce paid access without a reasonable path forward for enrolled students.
Payments
Prices are shown at checkout in the currency displayed. You authorize the charge through our payment provider. Taxes may apply. Access to paid content generally begins after successful payment, subject to any stated start date or cohort rules.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy (to be linked in the site footer when published). If a Refund Policy page is not yet linked, contact us via the Contact page before purchase with any questions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site or courses for unlawful purposes.
- Harass other students or staff, or disrupt community spaces if we offer them.
- Attempt to bypass paywalls, copy protection, or security measures.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute Site or course content.
- Upload malware or interfere with Site operation.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us.
We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate access for violations.
Educational and spiritual nature
Our courses are educational and spiritual in nature. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. See our Disclaimer page when published. You are responsible for your own practice and for any tools, herbs, candles, or other materials you choose to use.
Intellectual property
The Site, branding, course texts, meditations, rituals, images, and related materials are owned by Wyrd House Witchcraft or our licensors. Except for the limited personal license above, no rights are granted. “Wyrd House Witchcraft,” “Roots of the Old Ways,” and related marks are ours.
Third-party services
The Site may use third-party tools (hosting, payments, learning platforms, analytics, email). Their terms apply to their services. Links to other websites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND COURSES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Wyrd House Witchcraft and its owners, instructors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or courses. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site or a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant course in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or courses, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue a product (with a fair approach for paid students where required). You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes affecting paid enrollments, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Wyrd House Witchcraft principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply and cannot be waived. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, except where consumers retain mandatory local venue rights.
Personal use and no sharing of course materials
Course materials are for the personal use of enrolled students only. It is forbidden to share, redistribute, copy or publish course materials (lessons, videos, audio, PDFs, images or text) on websites, social media, groups, messaging channels or anywhere else without our prior written permission. Breach may lead to suspension of access without refund.
